I feel that waking up in the morning gets harder and harder... Yesterday I went to LensCrafters to get an eye exam (after about 4-5 years lawl) and pick out a sleek new frame for future glasses. Anyways when i was picking through numerous amounts of frames i noticed that i had slight bags under my eyes! Like.. wow? You may say, well of course -who doesn't!, but for me i usually do not have bags under my eyes... thus it has come to my conclusion that i am indeed lacking in the amounts of sleep that i indulged in the beginning of summer... better known as 12 hour sleep sessions... as compared to 5, 6, or 7 hours of sleep i've been getting since... i started working...
On top of this my wake up habits have been getting worse since the end of last semester. I usually have my cell phone as my alarm... and well let's just say the snooze buttons on my cell phone are way too easy... so what happens is i wake up to snooze it and cuddle with my phone until the next alarm comes... at which point i either dismiss the alarm.. or keep a finger ready at snooze and enjoy the remaining 5 minutes till i am awoken yet again... now that i'm at home i have my alarm ACROSS the room... but juuust in reach for me to crawl to the edge of my bed and grab it, snooze, and lay back down in some awkward position and pass out... and i continue the snooze/sleep cycle for who knows how long... sometimes i have even dismissed and slept for another hour only to wake up and realize i'm "Late" for work or i've missed my opportunity to run.
One good thing out of all this is that i usually give myself ample time in the morning, thus i can sacrifice a couple snoozes hehehe.
I usually run/exercise in the mornings... in preparation for a 5k run I'm going to participate in on July 17th (almost a week away... eeesh) Today though i was running up a really intense hill and there was some rock formation on the side of the street up a steeper hill. I hear some rustling in the bushes and i think, "Oh prolly some squirrels goin at it" (whatever that means...), but then i think "that rustling is pretty loud considering i'm blasting my ipod music..." so when i look back i see a deer JUMP from the bushes and it literally ROFLS across the road... I'd say about 5-6 rofls... It may sound sad and cruel that i think it's rofling... but deer in my area are more of an enemy than a friend... anyways i lawl'd at the sight of a deer rofling across the street hahahaha... it eventually got up... put on its lollerskates and continued on it's way.... EPICX...
My mom's crazy... she worked till 4 am then went to work for a workout class at the verizon corp center... came back home... cooked me some eggs for breakfast... and i think she's still working... DEDICATION... it's in my blood :)
