Hello hello! It's been way too long i know! This week at work my boss is out till friday so i will try to write as much as possible to make up for not posting these past few weeks.
Post #1 - Life as it is. 3/9/09
As I'm sure you know my co-op job is very "easy" to say the least. I go to work everyday, do about an hour's hard work and i'm basically done for the day. Not that I don't have enough to do... but maybe it's because the work isn't challenging enough nor very interesting because it's so tedious... at first it was interesting though... then when i actually started going through the tedious process of about 100+ chemical agents it was like X_X. It's weird because whenever i talk to my boss about work, or what i'm going to do next, the topics interest me because i understand what we have to do next. Then again when the actual work comes around it's like blehhh. It's ok, at least i'm progessing on my project slowly. I do like killing time during work though, whether it be watching videos, reading news, or doing things on various other websites. And yes i get paid to do it all. Very rewarding eh? Plus on top of that I get a day off of work every 2 weeks (per pay period). Though i've already used my days off for going on KRUP, which stands for Katrina Relief Urban Plunge. I'll update more on that in another post.
Beyond work is my normal weekly schedule. Mondays i have IV and then Dance practice till late (which is now extending to more and more days of the week can't wait till it's over... but i also can't wait to perform, it's gonna be so awesome!... and quite feminen/cute... lol!), Tuesdays i have clan practice or go out, Wednesdays i usually go out, Thursdays i have Cornerstone SG, Fridays - Sundays i usually have something planned, whether it be going out with friends i don't usually see or some special event, hockey or w/e... sometimes there's shopping for groceries in there and Church on Sunday... and much needed excess sleep!
So generally there isn't too much stress in my life these days. I did get a parking ticket the other week and that made me very sad. I had hoped i wasn't going to get any ticket while in boston with my car. I guess i should be happy that it wasn't towed away! =X Oh well, I paid for the ticket and i will (hopefully) never get another ticket! Another sad thing that's happened in my life is that my BOSE earbuds are dying... most likely due to mis proper storing on my part... (I'd just sorta stuff them in pockets or w/e) I guess the internal wiring got bent the wrong way which doesn't really make too much sense... I've only had these headphones since Thanksgiving!!! =( I guess i'll have to venture to Natick Mall one day and buy a new pair and treat them better! haha. I'm sure there are other random splurts in my life but you know how it is... you can only write about so much and be on topic.
I plan to have at least 2 more posts after this one this week...

DYung

Work update...
Hello hello! so i'm taking a break from work to update a little for you... let's start with work in the first place!
So a few weeks into the job and it's almost the same, I have work to do, but it's tedious and time consuming. I'm closing in on the finish of a small project and plan on moving onto learning more complex things. The environment is very chill, even though i work IN a lab which means i can't snack or drink anything while at my workstation, instead i have to go next door (literally 4 feet away) and eat there or drink there. The other interns seem to have their hands full of things to do... or do they? Whenever i go into the office where the other interns are they are playing online flash games or reading something nonwork related... or if they are reading something work related it's for the 10354th time reading it hahahaha... I guess they do some things here and there... i think they'll be working harder soon, so far they feel that i'm the only one doing work haha... which is true in a way... Anyways I got paid last week and it's nice to see my account balance go UP for once haha... I've been writing checks left and right for rent or church retreats or missions trips recently and it's been just a downward slope for my checking account hehe. All in all though work is almost a joke at some points... the other interns and i joke around alot with this one lady that works with us in the office... she's... weird to put it bluntly... but we also think she snitched on us about playing flash games and napping in the morning hahaha, which i suppose we shouldn't do anyways xDDDD
Life outside coop is very fulfilling... Mondays i have InterVarsity and Dance practice for celebrasian (till midnight Dx), Tuesdays i'm usually free and relax, go out and hang with friends or just bum out in my room playing video games with my COD4 clan, usually there's a weekly practice at 9 pm for my team so it works out hehe, Wednesdays are almost the same as Tuesdays where my plans vary from week to week, whether it be going out with friends or staying in relaxing, like tonight (wednesday) i'm going out to Super 88 yum yum =], Thursdays i have Cornerstone smallgroup and usually fellowship after by... going to 88 or out to eat somewhere... love them hahaha, Fridays ... well anything can happen on Fridays... weekends are so nice on coop, I feel very free whenever the weekend comes around. Not having to worry about homework or tests enables me to go out whenever i want and stay out to a reasonable time... i usually wanna be back home before midnight so i get 6 hours of sleep... hehe.
I registered for classes this morning for summer session II, at a glance it seems like it's going to be intense! I have classes (2) from 8 AM till 1130 AM then i have labs every other day from 12 - 3 pm... crazy stuff imo... but it may not be as bad as it sounds... i hope hehe.
Being on coop has it's ups and downs... right now i'm thinking that i dont see many of my friends as often as i want to. This could be contributed to the fact that i live off campus, but at the same time i'm getting to know alot of new people which is plus... so i suppose it's just a matter of time management between friends and myself.
I have alot of exciting things for me in the next few months... hopefully you'll get a taste of it on my blog... or in person when i talk to you! =]

Life and Co-op
Hello hello! I've decided to get ready for bed a little earlier than normal JUST to write this blog post. I missed writing about random stuff and to be honest i just haven't had the time... not to say that blogging is a chore, but when i have time i like to relax in other ways.
So co-op started on January 12th, 1 week after i thought it would have started... i got an extra "week" of vacation which was merely me getting ready to drive up to boston with my car and then proceed to move my stuff in and get settled... surprisingly it went fairly well considering my stuff was scattered in about 4-5 different places... and i still have a couple small things i have yet to retrieve! hehe. Anyways... co-op... was mad boring all last week... did nothing... but still got paid hehee so the only down side was that it was boring... i think things are going to start pick up soon... i hope... otherwise it's all your parent's tax money going to me! to be bored... read books and news articles all day! ahhahaha =]] But yeah it's a pretty old place... old people... so the pace is slow... or i like to think of it as going at my own pace hehe.... If you don't know already I'm working for the US Army! I'm doing research for them... and i'll keep it at that for security reasons... but i'm pretty sure i can tell people since it's sorta like general research... nothing above a Grade 3 clearance level =P Anyways working life is different... i wake up at 6 am and get to work around 730... and leave at around 4 pm or earlier... then i come home... relax and play some games usually... and depending on the day i go out to NEU or various other locations to chill with peeps or if i have other obligations... etc etc... other than that... i wanna hang out with some more people that i haven't seen in awhile... but technicalities are always present... nevertheless i'll see them eventually and be very happy =)
My apartment... OWNS as usually... i have my own room and my suitemates share a room... granted it's not the biggest room in world... it's still mine.... my privacy or lack there of... and i can dirty it all i want since i'm living in it hahaha.... cooking is a slight issue... i've been pretty lazy recently, because work tires me and i dont wanna cook when i come home... but i did buy a bunch of cooking stuff... and i've even prepared some meats and stuff! lol.... also i'm missing some special sauces that people are holding for me... gotta get those back...
There's alot going on in my life right now... NOT just work surprisingly... i'm getting more involved in random things... it's all a jumble right now and i'll take it all in as it comes around... wow my fingers are really cold from typing.... grrrr prolly since i washed dishes earlier... stupid soap xDD
Anyways this weekend i'm going to an IV retreat... that's a huge thing to look forward too!!! i'm very excited... especially to see everyone i met last time and catch up with them etc =)
Ok I'll try to update at work when i get my own computer station!!! I know for a fact i can get to blogger.com... it's not blocked by the government firewalll.... and some how... facebook isn't either...!?!? looooool mega fail!! but w/e i dont mind =P

Update... and then some.
So i got rejected from Parsons... I have an interview this Tuesday however with a government research company... the US Army Soldier research division in Natick... should be interesting... even though it's my ONLY oppotunity right now... maybe i'll get more replies monday since i sent out a bunch of my resumes over the break...
My break was good if you're curious... lots of relaxing with my brother and fam. seeing old friends was good too. Things at home are normal i'd say... there's a slight transition though seeing that both my brother and i are going on jobs soon. So that leads to arranging me bringing a car and them buying a new car for my bro... as he will be working in Wisconson.
I got a buncha new music over break too... some catchy hip hop and rock stuff... makes me happy to find new music that i'm addicted to :) I started to learn more poi stuff but i broke my current poi strings... and i think it'd take too much effort to fix... so either i'll get some when i start working... or maybe i'll get them for christmas from some one... o= meh doubt it haha we'll seee... not many people know what i want for Christmas... i dont usually want much... but when i think about it... i def want some glowsticks/poi strings (glowy).
One of the worst feelings you could experience is the realization that someone you like... just might not be the one for you. You like alot about them... their personality... looks... but there's that one thing that ticks.... could be something complicated... or something small.. but it just sucks... like what do you do with all your emotions... do you keep them? and just build a friendship... or invest in the relationship?? is it worth it?? maybe it was a one time thing?? too many things to consider... I've been playing aggressive for my own good recently with my relationships... i should be building up friendships more... which is what i inevitably do when i'm aggressive with my relationships... I'm the BEST (sarcasm) when it comes down to getting into the friendzone with people... i dont know why... is it a gift?? who knows... but it's a good thing AND sucks at the sametime... you know why? cause that means i will most likely follow the stereotype of "nice guys finishing last"... not exactly a bad thing... but then again i'm not the typical nice guy... or am i?? i dont even know... i'm just sorta in the middle... between jerk and nice guy... so average?? ugh... i'm just me... oh well... my friend Suzie from HS told me to just stay on the sideline... ironically it's what i told her in high school and now she's happy with a boyfriend at college.... i should swallow my own words sometimes... but it's always hard... if you've done i before i guess.... it's also hard to realize things like that.... faults in yourself... like who wants to just think of themselves as a bad person?? i guess a humble person lol... but it's hard to be humble at anytime... but then again it's always a good thing to strive for...
Anyways... my train of thought was cut off... so that ended my little splurt... i love doing that... just typing and running into different topics... it's great... my brother asked me over break why people write in blogs publicly and such... why they pour out their emotions to people that may be directly involved in issues between other people.... i didn't have a clear answer.... but i guess blogging is just meant for certain people?? It just flows with me sometimes... it's not to say i have no one to vent to... but it's more like venting to yourself... and then you can look back on it and see how stupid you were back when you wrote it... which is prolly what i'll think when i read this post 4 years from now or something haha.... but it's not like this blog is fully public... sure it's posted in my aim profile and facebook page.... but if you actually have clicked on it... then maybe you're interested to have a peak into my life... i know my close friend's dont read this... it's prolly more of my distant friends... which i dont mind.... i guess this is a place to say stuff like... Hello!!! since i probably dont see you for long periods of time :DD... but whatever, i dont write in this enough to have everything in my life laid out for you to read... just a preview i suppose... but for what it's worth i thank you for reading this to it's fullest extent... and it's nice to hear from readers that they do actually read... some people think it's stalkerish when they tell me they read.. but honestly i dont care... it's my decision to make it public right?? right... ok
Ok i really should sleep now... Mondays always suck... especially after longs breaks off of school...

Turning the page...
It's funny how life can turn in a new direction within a week. First my earbuds which i have loved and cherished failed hard at the beginning of this week... first my right earbud cut out... so i dealt with one ear for the whole week.. until friday where the 2nd ear started to cut in and out... it made me very sad.... so tonight i got these new ones, the cheapest ones i could find of course, and they're christmas colors xDD... my friends picked it out for me sorta... it was only after i purchased them that they suggested the christmas colored ones not just to be in the holiday season... but to make me look more asian hahaha good stuff... so that's the one thing that went bad this week and that i have made good!
The other things that have gone on this week... hmm let's see... there's been alot... one in particular is the fact i had an interview this weekend! It was on thursdayyy and it was veryyyy cold =( I went to downtown in full blown suit and tie... and if you're around boston you know it's reallly coooold! The interview itself went fairly well i think... i'll find out before thanksgiving... so when/if i do you'll definitely know on here hehehe... that'll make my life a lot better if i do get the job... otherwise it'll be just more stress added to my already stressful life... I've been traveling around alot to say the least... i've ventured to Braintree back to the Allston area... and then back to Newbury in one night... then back to Allston.. and back to NEU... crazy stuff that was just one of the nights recently... good times all around... i dont mind traveling, but it definitely consumes alot of your time... I was barely in my room this week... just to sleep and shower and all that jazz... but i suppose it's a good thing that i'm constantly on the move... but in another sense it doesn't give me the downtime i need/want to just relax and take in everything that's going in my life...
Right now i'm saddened by a number of things... For one, it's cold outside... 2nd, I have a bunch of work to do for monday since i'm going home monday night... i need to hand in stuff that would be due tuesday etc.... so tomorrow's going to be a busy day, with church, studying, and homework... then the stress of waiting on hearing back from the job i interviewed has been on my mind... granted that there are only 4 other people that interviewed... and 2 positions... gives me good odds... but i dunno... i guess i have to put faith in God to show me where i'm going with everything in my life right now...
On another note.... maybe it's Irony or just my luck... but i got cancelled on TWICE recently... i do not particularly like when things happen like that... i suppose i understand when there's a legit excuse... but in the event that there is a wavy excuse... i just feel like i'm being seen as the one who they can just move around... then i'm here on my end moving around my schedule FOR them... but either way it was fine that plans fell through... my bros are always there to back me up... good times all around... as always. Oh well there's always more oppotunities in the future for things to happen... again.. maybe it's a sign that i should be doing something else? probably... I really just wanna go home now and relax with my brother and friends... is that too much to ask for??? actually it really isn't... i dont have THAT much between me and thanksgiving... just a matter of working through it all... hehehe...
Anyways, this was just a little update in random happenings in my life... granted they aren't that specific... i feel i've already ranted to my friends about the specifics to justity writing about them here?? yeah whatever.... too much going on in my life to worry about the little things here and there.

Hello readers!
The last 3 weeks have been very intense to put it lightly. Not only did i have exams every week, but i also was away on the weekends.... hindering my availability... both weekends i was away on church retreats... which both were amazing! The first retreat was with a new group of people... Intervarsity which i have been slowly getting myself involved with this year... they're a great bunch of people and the key about it is that it's multiethnic! Multi-ethnic you say? YES that means the asian stereotype of being exclusive is broken into the world of other races/colors, in a great christian environment.... haha it's awesome to say the least! But anyways the retreat was quite a blessing... I met a ton of new people from various schools and bonded with some close(er) friends along with hearing a message that changed the way i think these days... living without fear and frustrations! Granted i still DOO have some here and there... i do not worry about them as often... a very optimistic view on things i suppose... it's something i want to hold on from now on though. Beyond the message was also a good time playing card games (Nertz especially!) into the wee hours of the morning and enjoying hot tea and food with new people!
Then when i thought i was going to miss retreat i was renewed with the fact that I'd be going on the C-Stone retreat the weekend after! wooo another amazing time, new people, long talks, and another moving message that made me and many of my peers think more about how we spend out time and money in today's society.... Social Justice is a very hard (if not impossible) thing to do and sadly our world today has just made it that way... taking for granted what we have is something we all do that makes us blind to the fact that we are better off than prolly 98% of the rest of the world today... one point i found very solid is that God gave us all life equally in his image... soo in a way the world has put it so that not everyone is equal... the right to live should be given to everyone, not just those with worthless pieces of currency... what really matters is the relationships we make in our life time!... Who's lives do we impact... many people probably... more so than you would probably think! The ways we interact with people is very unique to us... and we ripple through the people we associate ourselves with and interact with. Thus is our world today... we live it.. and I just hope that the interactions i have with people around me is worth something to them... Whether it be you reading this post or simply a "Hello" as we pass each other around a corner... every action happens for a reason...
So the two retreats were a real blessing for me and definitely a challenging time for me both spiritually and in reality. I was pushed with studying as i did not have any time on the weekends... even though i tried and failed horrible... i would either doze off (due to lack of lots of sleep) or there would be too many social opportunities to not take! haha On top of retreats and school I've been waiting on job interviews as well as apartment hunting!... it feels like it adds to the stress level in my life.. but in the end... i'm not that worried cause i know God will provide SOMETHING for me... I've had one interview so far... and it's for one of my top jobs... so i'm hoping i hear back from them next week! It's quite competitive for me right now since all the honors students have better GPAs than i do... and thus companies look at that first.... SO A WORD OF ADVICE TO ALL FUTURE COOPS/INTERSHIPS... dont put your GPA down on your resume... one of my friends didn't put his down and he got a bunch of interviews compared to someone who DIDput down GPA.... only put down your GPA if it's good basically... not saying that my GPA isn't good... it's just people are higher than me... I guess i have to wait to see which job/interviews i get to really make a good suggestion on the matter... but it's definitely something to consider...
Apartment hunting on the other hand is being pushed off constantly because it's hard to find apartments for a January move in at this time... better to start looking later in November i suppose.... I'll prolly update on it in the future...
As a little side note... this post was started like 2-3 days ago and i've added slowly here and there when i've had time... i thought i'd have time this weekend... but everyday i was busy till late late at night... and i just didn't have the energy to think about what to write... even tonight... i'm surprised i've conjured the energy to write the rest of this... maybe it was the Starbucks i had earlier hehehe...
So this is merely the surface of what's been going on in my life... I have some more specific topics to discuss possibly for the future... so if you scrolled down past the big paragraphs... in a nut shell I've been crazy busy for my own good... I do find free time here and there and i indulge in my hobbies that i'm barely hanging onto... as well as some friendships/relationships that need rekindling... i love spending time with people outside my normal routine... or maybe it's the other way around and i don't have a normal routine... and just do things as they come and go! haha sure i have the typical hangout with my friends in the late evenings... where we either watch movies or simply chill till the wee hours of the morning... but when the random social "dates" come into play... it spices things up, it's great!... anywayssss this could definitely lead into many more topics for discussion but i'll hold off for now...
I have another post that i want to complete with something more specific to myself and relationships... it's like half written... hopefully i'll have time to finish is tomorrow or on Veteran's day? meh we'll seeee

Columbus day - get away!
So I'm home... the trip back from boston south station to chinatown NYC took 7 hours!!! woooo yay for crowded holiday weekends!... i love how people think the chinatown (fungwah or luckystar) bus is a "fast way" to get to NYC... like there's a standard to them... for "luxury" trips... and when there's the slightest traffic jam they get pissed!... or when the driver made a pit stop at a Mcdonalds... people cursed him off since they were late to a concert... or some dinner... QQ more plz.
anyways to say the least not much has changed for the month or so that i've been at school... guess that's a good thing... well that's a lie... on the surface things haven't changed... i still have my comfy room and comfy bed with my desk and swirly chair xD! I still love going out with my parents to dinner/lunch and enjoying meals with them... and after there's ALWAYS a shopping session... whether it be for clothes (today i got 2 random sport shirts... that were on sale OF COURSE =D) or food (i got tons of food and drinks to bring back up to boston!) they never cease to smother me as much as possible to make sure i'm staying healthy and happy... though it all comes with the price of doing well in school and getting a job and all that stressful stuff... and that's their way of showing me they really love me... ! =X
School wise i feel my academics aren't where i want them to be right now... I think in a couple weeks though i'll start getting on the right track... i definitely hope it's not too late to make up some mistakes... Not that i've been slacking... no i've been spending ample time in the library and around campus working my butt off! I think i've been just concentrating in the wrong areas of academics... is that even possible?! like the stuff that's worth more i dont put as much effort into as the not so important assignments... errr wow why am i doing that?!?! oh right cause the ones that are worth more are harder to learn! hahaha...
On the other hand co-op is coming up soon and it has just dawned upon me that time is SUCH an issue nowadays... I wanna try to find out where i'm living ASAP... but at the sametime i need to know where i'm working this spring... but first i need to rank my jobs... then wait for an interview.. then wait for a response... THEN i'll know and then i can secure a housing situation... BUT i have to do all this within a month's time!? I just hope that NEU won't take all my money away if i'm past the deadline to pull out... and the place i'm living is "too close" to NEU to justify a pull out... bah! whatever...
I'm looking into 3 main companies right now.... 2 in the cambridge area and 1 in woburn... there's a few companies further out... near weymouth and worchester... but then i'd have to get a place further out i would think... and that would be hassle.... then there's the option of workin in NJ... good opportunities here too... but i dont wanna be stuck in NJ with no one around really... that'd be boring ya know??? /sighhhh ... At least i think i'll be able to get a job... i'm looking at nano-tech jobs right now... just reading job descriptions gets me hyped for it =D!
I've been wanting to get into 3D projects... making cool objects n stuff... I got this program called Cinema4D.... supposed to be really simple and really easy to make cool things... but just gotta spend the time to go through tutorials and stuff.... i really wish i had the time...

Dance with me...
I believe that di.fm is one of the greatest sites around these days that should be visited... mainly to download one of their channel stream files and let your body move, and ears rejoice! This is of course in reference to all those out there who juuust looove to danceeee! and who doesn't!?!? please tell me.... who doesn't feel a beat when a DJ is on the turntables ballin a SICK BEAT?! almost nobody can deny a good beat with good melodies and harmonies and all that good stuff. It's that much more better than a lot of the music these days since it's so uplifting and makes you smile all the same! This is all in relation to the "electronic" genre as some may call it... many people discriminate electronic as just one type of music... but in reality the electronic scene has so many infused types and should be considered genres by themselves. I'll point out a few distinct types...
Today at the gym i tried out rowing. It's actually a little easier than i expected, but it's awesome! Works your back neck muscles like crazy (at least that's what i felt when i did it...) Though i already have decently strong back/shoulder muscles so maybe that's why it was easier than expected. I did 2000 meters of rowing... i was averaging 3:15 minutes per 500 meters... dunno how good that is oh well. I like feeling in shape... except after the gym i went to burger king for breakfast (i couldn't resist, it was just so convenient!).... least to say their breakfast things aren't too bad... but i mean what can you expect from the BK Lounge? nothing more then not too bad! lol
I watched Wanted on ninjavideo while eating my breakfast... decent movie i thought... they have the Dark Knight on ninja video already... in decent quality.... dang...
Yay I have 2 sales today! =D!!!

- Trance :: It's sorta self-explanatory (puts one in a trance?), but usually consists of drawn out (mid length, not too long usually very well spaced out imo) melodies that relax your mind... very good for background music for doing something tedious or whatever fits the situation.
- Vocal Trance :: Almost the same as regular Trance but with vocals!!! yayyy! Usually mixed very well into the beat and general flow... sometimes in Japanese, but mostly in English.. one of my personal favorites (got me really into the techno/electronic scene).
- Progressive :: This one is a little different... it consists of fairly long beat repetitions, but it's a build up, hence the name, it may sound monotonous once you start, but if you're doing something on the side (that requires a fair amount of concentration) while listening it's one of the best since the beat sorta infuses itself into your mind then when the slow progression of added sounds here and there begins it creates a great, unique, sound that will make your body move. Also one of my personal favorites while i'm working and studying... for finals mainly.
- House :: If you like simple music this is prolly one of the channels for you... it reminds me of being in a club or some cafe... very good background music... not exactly like elevator music, but it's sorta just there when you listen to it. No real direction usually in the song, but it works.
- EuroDance :: This one is probably THE BEST to dance to. It's definitely meant for a dance club type environment. Very popular in Europe, as you couldn't tell from the name, and most of the artists originated from Europe. Includes Vocals that are amazingly well put together with beats... the vocals also are along the lines of today's popular pop songs (but with more a dance feel to them)! It's one of the best genres... and one of the best channels di.fm has to offer.
- HardDance :: Hard to explain this one... it's sorta like Eurodance... but less vocals, not as much change in beat (since there are no vocals), but there's a ton more energy (NRG) in terms of the electronic sounds that are presented... it's pretty good dance music i think. Though definitely selective to its audience since it's one of the faster types... with BPMs (beats/min) up near the 200s
- Hard Core :: VERY fast type aimed towards the Raver community. It might just make you go crazy...

eBay revisited and July 4th weekend
It's Monday. I woke up this morning exhausted, I had planned to wake up and go running in preparation for the 5k run coming up, but I just couldn't find the motivation to. I don't know if it's lack of sleep or what, but i definitely need to start up exercising again. This weekend my calorie intake was well over my usual putting it simply. Between the excess carb meals and walks down the seaside heights boardwalk, there really wasn't a point where i wanted food, mainly cause i was always full! lol Except strangely enough, i had come back on saturday and weighed myself, came out to be near 150lbs... then today i'm back down to my original weight 143... i dunno what happened lol... maybe i exercise in my sleep and i don't know it. oh well! =]
So I'm listening to eurodance, one of my favorite past time genres of music/types of music that just is just awesome to listen to while doing anything. The energy and uplifting vocals are amazing... mainly cause it's the type of music that is supposedly played in nightclubs/dances in europe... not the US. As you know the US type nightclubs/party dances would usually contain the various popular rap/hip hop songs... mixed with an occasional electronic type song, depending on the DJ. I'm downloading a handful of eurodance albums/compilations... i hope i won't be let down!
I finished all my morning work for now... but one thing while going through my routine was reading/replying to a message that i find quite annoying/arrogant from a buyer who complained about shipping as mentioned in my last post i believe.
So this set of items i sold to Mrs. Florida (since it's a female buyer from florida) have in the description that they include the, and i quote,
Yesterday after church i was taken out to lunch by my parents along with a handful of young adults/mid-age people. Granted i would have rather gone out with the other college group kids, i do not have my own car that i drive to church... thus i'm stuck with my parents. Anyways, I guess you could say i was kinda glad that i went out with this particular group of people where my parents were the oldest people there, and I was the youngest person... within the mix were couples and singles that were just married, have been married for a couple years, or single. It was interesting to hear the various stories of my parents and the other people there. What i can definitely say is that i'm looking forward to the future... to marriage... to all that other jazz... though baby caring seemed like such a burden lol... but yeah i have more to say, but i'm sorta distracted at the moment... so i'll end it here..

these item swhere supposed to INCLUDE their RETAIL box - BUT these are NOT the correct boxes ??? the serial numbers on the cards do NOT match the serial numbers on the box - hence tehse are NOT the retail boxes for it - these are just generic non-conforing boxes !!!First of all... GREAT use of CAPS and great sentence structure... i feel like i'm talking to a 12 year old kid on the computer when going back and forth through messages... but anyways... i responded that Mrs. Florida is correct that they do not include 'matching' serial numbers, BUT there is no mentioning that they are ORIGINAL boxes in my description. Not like it matters AT ALL since it still came with the documentation and software... I don't want to be seen as a bad sales person, but if they wanted the original boxes they could have asked if they were originals or they could have just bought it from someone else.... after all they got them for 99 CENTS...... ugh

We sell your stuff on eBay!
So my job this summer is sorta hard to describe... I'm working for my dad's company, which is essentially run by himself almost all year (except when i'm helping him, duh). He originally took stuff from ebay (computer stuff) and tried to either repair or refurbish the equipment in order to resell it back on ebay. After 4-5 years of this his company has evolved into something much more, and i'm actually very impressed by this. Nowadays he sells high value computer equipment over a professional trading site, for ridiculous amounts of money. Profit is both high and low depending on how much he paid for it when he got it. So over the years he accumulated a buncha stuff that couldn't sell, but he definitely made up his lost money by getting high yields on his other sales... and of course this is where I come in...
What i do is take these select products that he could not sell on his professional market place and put them up on eBay! I sort them, test them, clean them, then take pictures of them for the ebay listing... i guess it sounds somewhat interesting at first, and i was definitely enthusiastic at the beginning, but then come the issues of the picky customer. ebay is FILLED with people who just try to constantly nickel and dime you... like worse than any asian sales person. When i first started putting things up on ebay like 2-3 weeks ago my dad told me to put the starting bid at .99 cents. This was for the purpose of getting people to actually look at my listing and give them an incentive to buy/bid since my ebay "score" was 0 when i created my account, so everyone would know i'm some noob -lawl! Anyways, most ebayers are "smart" as they say it and SNIPE bids like mine at the very last second, usually like 5-10 seconds before the bidding ends. This is in attempt to get it really cheap aka my .99 cents starting bid. So i had like 5 listings up on ebay... and the first few were sniped for .99 cents... which i dont mind since i had charged a small handling fee so i made more than just a dollar lol... and my dad doesn't need any of the stuff i sell so good for the winner... so what ended up happening on one of my listings was that there was bidding war that brought up the price of my product to 53.00$ from .99 cents... so i think AWESOME since it happened when i was in florida...
When i get back the same person had also got one of my .99 cent listings and wanted "combined" shipping, which they thought would save them some money, since MOST other users on ebay over estimate shipping prices.... however I DO NOT as i want to make sure i'm giving my customers the best idea of the price that they will pay... so they asked for that and sure i did combine the shipping and gave them a revised price which was almost exactly what they would have paid if they won both listings at 2 different times (not shipped together)... so i gave it to them and they complain that i LIED to them and that i'm trying to CHEAT them.... BULL! so we "fight" for a couple emails back and forth and they finally give in and send me the money... then the day i'm going to ship it... they have the nerve to send me an email saying that i should pack the items they won NEATLY, and make sure they're CLEANED, oh and that i put the items they bought into 1 consolidated box.... NO DUH! like WOW... please...
that was like 1 week ago.... and it's shipped... it's prolly arrived at the destination, but they still haven't given me any feedback for my ebay score to go up... though i am happy that two other customers have given me positive feedback... so now i am at a score of 2! YESSS I have a buncha stuff up for bid right now for VERY HIGH prices... as it is more valuable! if they sell, which i'm almost sure they will i'll be getting some niiiice money =]]]]
So if you're too lazy to read all of the above here's a very short summary:

- It's fun and i like it, except for customers that try to take advantage that i have a low score... who think i'm some NOOB -pffff
- I make some nice extra money from the sales that will definitely be used for next semester at school or for any future endeavors that may require... money... hmmmm... hopefully i don't meet a gold-digger LOL... but shhh i'm not really that loaded with cash....
- I could prolly get away with this summary and delete all the stuff above...
